UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES IN BIOLOGY

Our department offers premier training in an array of biological disciplines spanning plant sciences, molecular and cell biology, animal physiology, paleolimnology, ecology, evolution and conservation biology. We have engaged, award-winning teachers, an exciting program of field courses taught at sites around the world, and an undergraduate thesis course that provides one-on-one research training in faculty laboratories. Students receive a comprehensive grounding in biology in the first two years, progressing to intensive, more specialized and intimate courses in their upper years. Our upper year module courses with 12-14 students afford excellent opportunities for exploring topical themes and the most recent primary literature.

For all important notices on scheduling, program updates or regulation changes, important events/announcements please see Undergraduate Notice Board.
