Ann McKellar (Ph.D. Biology) wins Mewaldt-King Student Research Award for 2011 from the Copper Ornithological Society.
Ann McKellar (Ph.D. Biology; Supervisor: Ratcliffe) was awarded the Mewaldt-King Student Research Award for 2011 from the Cooper Ornithological Society for her proposal entitled: "Does winter rainfall influence breeding phenology and behaviour in a long-distance migratory songbird?" This award will help support Ann's last season of field research on American redstarts this summer at the Queen's University Biological Station.
