At the recent annual meeting of the Ontario Commercial Fisheries’ Association, Adjunct Professor John Casselman  received the 2009 Ontario Commercial Fisheries’ Association “Robert J. Graham” Partnership Award “in recognition of many years of active involvement in fisheries management and fisheries research in Ontario and in recognition of his contributions to the sustainability of the fishery resource through constructive dialogue and interaction with the Ontario Commercial Fisheries’ Association and the commercial fishing industry and in recognition of his continuing efforts to promote partnership and understanding between the commercial fishing industry, other resource users, government, academia, and the general public.”
