- Tour the Queens University Biology Station ( Elbow Lake Campus ) with Director Steve Lougheed. 2:15-4:00pm S aturday, October 25 and Saturday, November 8. Bus departs Queen's University, Biosciences Complex (Barrie Street side) at 2pm and ret urns to same location at 4pm Free Tour and Transportation (registration required - limited availability).

We are a diverse science department dedicated to research and academic excellence. Our research spans a wide array of biological disciplines including plant sciences, biochemistry, proteomics,cell and molecular biology, animal physiology, limnology, evolution, ecology and behaviour.
We have 30 full-time faculty, 11 of whom hold research chairs. With more than 90 graduate students, some $3 million per year in research funding, and a dynamic undergraduate thesis and field course program, we are one of the premier destinations for post-secondary biology education in Canada.
