braille signage for the A T CThe Adaptive Technology Centre (ATC) includes:

  • Library Accessibility Services
    The Library offers a range of services that enable students with disabilities to read, write, research and access library materials more effectively.
  • Adaptive Technology Lab and Support
    The Adaptive Technology Lab contains computers, assistive devices, quiet study space and specialized software.

To obtain access to the Adaptive Technology Centre in Stauffer Library, students must first be registered at the Queen's Student Accessibility Services Office, La Salle Building, Stuart Street, where a disability services card will be issued. The Adaptive Technology Centre contains technology and services that enable students with disabilities to study, research, and access library and course materials. The Centre is for the use of students with disabilities and their assistants. The Law Library, located in Macdonald Hall, also has a room available for students with disabilities. Upon presentation of their disability services card at the Libraries' Circulation Desks, students may sign for an access card to either facility. Students may also obtain their own access card for use during the academic year.
