Ruth Osunde, Psychology and Health Studies

Introduction

Hello! My name is Ruth Osunde (She/Her), and I am an active member of the Queen’s community. Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, I completed high school in Mississauga before settling in Kingston. I am a third-year student pursuing a joint honours degree in Psychology and Health studies.

I chose Queen’s because I wanted to actively engage with their mission to celebrate equity leaders and work to improve campus life and accessibility for a diverse number of students.

Outside of my academics, I work with our student government as one of the Social Issues Commissioners, working to engage the university on behalf of students on campus. In addition, I am one of the co-presidents of the Queen’s Black Fashion Association and the conference director for the Queen’s Black Academics Society.
