Introduction
Hello, my name is Duy Nguyen! I’m from HCM city in Vietnam and I’m a second-year student at Queen’s majoring in Computing in the faculty of Arts and Science. When I think of Queen’s I think of their strong sense of community. As an international student, I was naturally nervous about the upcoming challenges, whether it be in academics or in social life. However, from the students to the professors, to even the ladies from the dining halls, they were always happy to help. It is because of this family-like community here and the little things that make Queen’s “Queen’s” that encouraged me to get out of my own comfort zone and become a better version of myself, and I look forward to continuing upgrading my character through small moments of connection with others throughout my years at Queen’s.
