When I found out that I was the recipient of a student award, my whole family was so grateful. It was truly an honour to receive an award that commemorates the life and achievements of a Queen’s alumnus. It has made me feel deeply connected to Queen's, and to all the students who have come before me. It is a great privilege to be a part of a community where there are such strong ties between students and alumni.
