Alumni weekend at the Castle – April 28 – 29 Save the date for a Queen’s alumni weekend at the Bader International Study Centre in East Sussex. The daffodils will be in bloom across the 600-acre estate, and we’ll have exclusive access to Herstmonceux Castle and its parklands. Plans are in the works for educational sessions with BISC faculty, musical entertainment, fine dining, and on-site tours for this family-friendly Queen’s alumni weekend. Details will be confirmed shortly. Excellence in Research Public Lecture – March 20
The recipients of the 2011 Excellence in Research Awards, Drs. Zongchao Jia (Biomedical and Molecular Sciences) and Victor Snieckus (Chemistry) discuss the research that garnered each of them this prestigious award. Dr. Jia will present “A Tale of the First Prokaryotic Protein Phosphorylation System" while Dr. Sniekus will present "iSynthesize - Life of an Organic Chemist." This event will take place in the Chernoff Hall Auditorium, 90 Bader Lane from 7 - 8 pm. |
