This letter was mailed to your class at the end of April. If you did not receive it, please contact to ensure your contact information is up to date.

April 30, 2013

Dear Artsci ’03 classmate!

Can you believe that it has been 10 years since we crossed the stage? With that wonderful memory in mind – we’re very excited to be able to finally write to you to let you know that Homecoming is officially back! Together with the rest of the Queen’s community, we look forward to seeing you back on campus this coming October – for our 10-year reunion!

As you may know, Homecoming will now be held over two fall weekends. Our class will be returning to Kingston during the weekend of October 18-20, 2013. To stay up to date on the latest plans and to let your classmates know you’re returning, register for Homecoming Weekend today at:

What types of events are going on while I’m going to be there?

This year’s Homecoming weekend will be similar to the ones you may remember, featuring signature alumni events and of course, a football game between the Queens’ Gaels and the Guelph Gryphons (whom we will undoubtedly defeat on the field..!) We’ve kept our planned events for the 10-year reunion minimal. There will be campus and community-wide events going on and we encourage you to take part in any and all of them. Be sure to check the Homecoming website for all up-to-date campus events. But the one we’re very much hoping you’ll join us for is the alumni parade at halftime during the football game! Don’t forget your jacket ;)

Where can I meet up on Saturday with fellow alumni before the game?

Look no further than Milestones on Princess Street! We’ve arranged for a group reservation for brunch before the game, then we’ll walk towards the stadium to watch the game! Space is limited so make sure to RSVP at It’ll be a pay-your-own-way brunch; a great way to meet up with ex-housemates and friends before the game, and get some food before the day’s events.

Where do I buy my football ticket(s)?

You can purchase tickets by visiting

Where am I going to sleep?

In preparation for Homecoming 2013, we have set aside a limited block of hotel rooms at the Donald Gordon Conference Centre for $155 (double occupancy) and $135 (single occupancy), both of which include a hot breakfast. To book one of these rooms, please contact the Conference Centre at (613) 533-2221 before September 6, 2013 and let them know you are with Artsci’03.

How do I stay in touch with the reunion plans?

Be sure to register for Homecoming Weekend at to receive updates from the University. Additional reunion updates will be posted on our class page, as well as Facebook (artsci03reunion), so please check back frequently to ensure you don’t miss anything. As well, to ensure that you don’t miss any of our future (electronic or postal) mailings about Homecoming 2013, we would like to encourage you to confirm your contact information with Queen’s.

Feel free to contact us with ideas, concerns, questions and most importantly RSVPs for the brunch! You can email us at or find us on the Facebook group and we can reply to you there.

We look forward to seeing you very soon in Kingston!

Cha Gheill!
