Created in 2009, this award celebrates the dedication and generosity of Kathleen (Beaumont) Hill, Arts'50, to her alma mater and community for more than 50 years.
To proudly carry Kathleen Hill's name and spirit for future generations of remarkable Queen's alumni in British Columbia, this award will be presented annually to the individual who best exemplifies her outstanding service, passionate advocacy, dedicated support, and contributions to the betterment of our University and our country.

Carman will be recognized by the Vancouver Branch on September 25, 2013 for being a distinguished leading practitioner in the field of labour and employment law and an exceptional representative of Queen's in the community.
