The John Orr Award
The John Orr Award is the highest tribute given by the Toronto Branch of the Queen's University Alumni Association. It rewards significant contribution to the life and welfare of the University. Originally called the Toronto Award, it was renamed in 1966 after Dr. John Orr, MD'23, to honour his valuable contributions to the Medical Faculty and the University during his lifetime (1899-1965).

The Toronto Branch of the Queen's University Alumni Association invites you to attend the 59th Annual John Orr Dinner and Dance, held on November 16th 2013, honouring John A. Rae for his many contributions to the Queen's community. This black tie event will be hosted at the Fairmont Royal York and offers alumni and friends the unique opportunity to step out in style and experience the Queen's spirit in Toronto.
