We now offer a service for alumni that provides a Queen's email address and mailbox through Microsoft Office 365. This address will take the form of “NetID@queensu.ca” with an option to create an alias, such as firstname.lastname@example.org.
Who is eligible?
All Queen's alumni are now entitled to use a Queen's email address. How you obtain the service depends on your current alumni status.
Recent graduates: Students who have graduated in the previous academic year will automatically transition to the alumni email service one year after graduation. Eligible alumni will be notified by email about when and how the service will become available to them. (Learn about changes in services when you transition to an alumni account.)
Alumni not currently using email service from Queen's: If you have an active student or alumni NetID and you know your password, you can now set up your alumni email service using the NetID Profile Manager. Detailed instructions are available on the page Setting up Your Alumni Email Service.

Once you have set up your Queen's email, you can log in to your account through the Outlook Web App.
Keeping your email service active:
In order to maintain your alumni email service, you will need to log in to your email account at least once a year.

How to Cancel Your Email Service
If you are a recent graduate whose email account has been migrated to the alumni service – or if you have signed up for the service, but no longer wish to use it, you have options:
You can allow your account to become dormant by not using it. If you do not log into your email account for 12 months, your account will be considered dormant and your mailbox will automatically be removed.
