Kinesiology focuses on human movement in the applied exercise-science fields of study such as biomechanics, ergonomics, exercise physiology, and physical activity epidemiology.

While the program is primarily science-based, students also learn about human movement in the context of exercise, sport psychology and the socio-cultural aspects of physical activity.

Laboratory and hands-on learning experiences with award-winning research faculty are an integral part of the program.

This prestigious program is accredited by the Canadian Council of University Physical Education and Kinesiology University Administrators, and its graduates satisfy the criteria for membership in the Ontario Kinesiology Association and the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance.
