Art History

In first year, you will explore a chronological sequence of art works from antiquity to the modern era in the West; in your upper years you can choose from a wide range of specialized courses focusing on particular periods or themes.

The learning environment on campus is enhanced by Ontario’s third-largest art gallery, the Agnes Etherington Art Centre, as well as the thriving student-run Union Gallery. Students can participate in trips to museums in the major art centres of Canada and the northeastern U.S.
