Faculty/Staff Resources
University Communications staff provide support and expertise to faculties, schools and departments across the campus and senior administration.
Queen’s Communications supports the university’s reputation for research and academic excellence, profiling research and university initiatives and accomplishments, internally and externally.
The news and media team works to promote Queen’s faculty members in the media, both proactively through daily pitching and responsively, when reporters call looking for an expert for their story.
Your contributions to public discourse benefit you, your department, your faculty and the university as a whole. The university supports academic freedom and freedom of expression and when you appear in the media, you are speaking personally as a professional, academic and expert in your field. Members of the university’s senior administration would offer a ‘university position’.
If you have news of interest to the Queen’s community or a local, national or international media audience, please contact the Communications staff.
