Dr. Julian Barling’s research, writing, and teaching explores issues of and approaches to transformational leadership and employee well-being.

Professor Barling’s research seeks to develop new knowledge about the inherent nature and predictors of transformational leadership – leadership that truly engages and elevates employees – knowledge that guides his extensive involvement in leadership development with executives.

It is essential and enriching work with the potential to improve the lives of millions of working Canadians.
