Take a break from your studies and unwind with fitness classes, organize a pick-up game with friends, or work out with a personal trainer in our state-of-the-art fitness facility. If you are interested in competitive or high performance sport, why not try out for one of Queen's varsity teams or clubs?
Whatever you do to get active and stay healthy, and no matter your skill level, Queen's has an athletic option to help you get at the recommended 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity per week.
Students participate in more than 30 different recreation clubs ranging from archery and trampoline to squash and tennis, along with multiple disciplines of dancing, martial arts, and gymnastics.

Queen’s offers more than 50 fitness classes per week such as yoga, salsa dancing, spin, and swimming.

Nearly 1,000 students proudly sport the Tricolour, and the Gaels are perennial contenders for league and national championships. In 2011, the Gaels hoisted five OUA banners and one national championship. Queen’s consistently ranks in the top three in terms of the number of CIS and OUA Academic All-Stars.
