Facebook earnings announcement: Queen's University expert
Queen’s University expert Neil Bearse is available to talk about the today’s Facebook’s quarterly earnings announcement. This is their first time that earnings have been announced since the company went public.
Mr. Bearse, the Queen’s School of Business Associate Director of Marketing who specializes in social media and digital marketing, can talk about the expectations for the company in light of other recent earnings announcements, and what this means for Mark Zuckerberg.
“After a botched IPO, a less-than favourable response to the new Timeline interface, and growing concern about their mobile platform, the eyes of the world are on Palo Alto tonight. Fresh off of disappointing results from both Apple and Zynga, the pressure could not be higher for Mark Zuckerberg. He can clearly build a platform; now he must answer the most important question: can he turn those eyeballs into profits,” said Mr. Bearse.
