New Tim Hortons location to improve service
A new Tim Hortons outlet is opening in the John Deutsch University Centre (JDUC) this fall.
“The additional location is intended to alleviate the lineups that develop during peak times at the Tim Hortons in the Queen’s Centre,” says Bruce Griffiths, Executive Director, Housing and Hospitality Services. “We anticipate the JDUC outlet will improve the speed of service based on the positive impact of the second outlet in the Biosciences Complex.”
The Tim Hortons outlet will be located on the first floor of the JDUC in the space formerly occupied by the post office. Similar to the second location in the Biosciences Complex, Queen’s community members can quickly buy coffee, tea and a selection of baked goods. The Queen’s Centre location will continue to offer the complete Tim Hortons menu including sandwiches and soups.
Renovations to the space will begin shortly. The Tim Hortons in the JDUC is expected to open near the middle of September.
