Aboriginal leaders meet provincial premiers: Queen's University expert
Queen’s University Global Development Studies professor Bob Lovelace is available to discuss today’s meeting between provincial premiers and Aboriginal leaders (including Assembly of First Nations chief Shawn Atleo), ahead of the premiers’ summit on inter-provincial relations.
Professor Lovelace, a retired Ardoch Algonquin First Nation chief, can comment on many of the issues that will be discussed by the leaders, including natural resource development, education and economic issues, and the prevention of violence against Aboriginal women and girls.
